M&E roles we recruit
Permanent delivery and commercial positions on the building services side of a project.
Most of our M&E work sits with the people who carry a services package from award to handover: the project managers who run it on site and the quantity surveyors who keep it commercially sound. We recruit for tier-one M&E contractors, specialist mechanical and electrical subcontractors, main contractors with in-house MEP package teams, and the consultancies that sit on the client side.
Every role is permanent. We're interested in moves people build a career on, not short-term cover.

Where do you recruit?
We're based in London, at 128 City Road, and a lot of our M&E work is on London projects. We support clients and candidates across the whole of the UK, so if the project is in Manchester, Birmingham or Bristol, we can help there too.
Do you work with contractors or consultancies?
Both. We recruit for M&E contractors and specialist subcontractors, for main contractors who manage building services packages in-house, and for consultancies. We understand how the role changes depending on which side of the contract someone sits, and we brief candidates on that honestly.
How do you assess M&E candidates?
We go further than job titles. We ask what size of package someone actually ran rather than the value of the whole scheme, what their role was through testing and commissioning, and how they handled the commercial side, from applications for payment to the final account. By the time you see a CV, we've already had that conversation.
How quickly can you put forward a shortlist?
We agree a timeline with you when you brief the role and keep to it. Because we're usually picking up existing conversations rather than advertising from scratch, we can often move faster than a general construction agency.
